The Density of Silence
2026 · Oil on panel · 81 × 100 cm
The work emerges from my relationship with family members and stories that have reached me in fragments. The detail of the image coexists with the wood grain and the traces of the painting process. I am not seeking to reconstruct an event with certainty, but to remain before an absence and accept the gaps that are part of every family’s memory.
